What You Should Know About Decommissioning a Well

There are several factors you should be aware of before you can decommission a water well, such as the type of well it is, its depth, if there is a well log available, etc.

The process also requires a a permit from the Department of Ecology always with a fee of $50.00. A licensed well driller is also required to legally decommission any well—that's where we come in.

We had a 150 foot well dug and the pump attached for a generator. Fogel was very professional yet still gave that small community feel by their willing to get everything perfect. A top notch operation. Took awhile to get my well drilled as they have been crazy booked. Had it done in January. Despite how nerve racking this process can be, our drill crew was awesome. Austin communicated our progress and gave me an estimate along the way which prompted us to drill further with success at 360 and a great 10gpm well. It’s a gamble, but these guys have the most streamlined outfit in the region. Exceeded my expectations and cost came in fair, if a little high. They just completed our pump system as well and we could not be happier. If you can be patient, these guys will not let you down. Shout out to Greg and his team for the excellent work

I have had work done and they have done great. I even had an issue with power to my barn and thought it was caused by their work. I really hate to eat crow but Dave sent a employee out to verify. I had tested all power but the power outlet in the barn had been tripped and I had tested it but I WAS WRONG, and for this I am truly sorry. I will recommend these guys and I stand corrected.
